COVID update - my studio closed for lockdown and will reopen from when possible with COVID safety measures in place (see my blog for more details). COVID refund guarantee - if you book a session for 2021 and there is a national or local lockdown you will be eligible for a full refund or to reschedule your session.
Booking
Re-opening on 12th April 2021, by which time I will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Now taking bookings for May 2021 and beyond.
Your newborn photography session should be booked during your pregnancy to guarantee availability, I only have 10 sessions available per month to ensure I can fit you in even if your baby comes early or late.
Most people book after their 25 weeks scan, although you can book earlier if you want to! I sometimes have last minute availability so please do get in touch if your baby is already here to check.
Ideally newborn photography sessions take place between 6 - 14 days after baby is born, when they are the most sleepy and relaxed. Although we can do the photos later if necessary, we will be aiming for this time to get the best results as this is usually when baby is the most settled.
There is an £89 session fee which will need to be paid at the time of booking, this does not include any images as these are purchased separately.

The Session
Newborn photography sessions predominantly take place in my home studio in Bow in East London, where I have everything required for a safe and comfortable session for your family. The session is likely to last around 3-4 hours including time to feed baby when they need it and I only book one session per day to ensure that we don’t have to rush and can keep the session relaxed..
You will arrive in the morning, and for most of the session you will relax on the sofa with a cuppa and I will do all of the hard work. I will have prepared the session based on our previous consultation to ensure the outcome is something you will really love and it will usually be a mixture of family shots and baby on their own.
During the session your baby’s safety and needs come first. All of my equipment is top of the range photography and newborn posing equipment which is safe, clean and well maintained. I constantly monitor the baby’s temperature and mood and will use my experience to adapt and deliver the session based on their needs.
After the session
After shortlisting the photos down to between 20-35 (depending how the session goes), I will professionally edit your gallery. About a week later you will return to the studio for your ordering appointment where you will view all of the images and choose which ones you would like to select and therefore what photo package is best for you.
Once you have selected your images I will save them onto a memory stick in colour and black and white and you will take that home with you. Every package also comes with prints or an album, after your session I will order these and they will be delivered to you within around 2 weeks.

Photo packages are purchased separately and start at £299.
I also offer wrapped mini newborn sessions for £199, these sessions are 1hr long and will capture pictures of baby on their own and wrapped up only.
